David Daniel Goodwin

Growing up as the son of a trial attorney in Western Washington, I always knew that I wanted to be a litigator. After graduating from law school, my Father somewhat unexpectedly approached me and asked if I would consider working in his general practice firm. For the last 11 years, I have had the opportunity to represent a wide variety of clients with an equally wide array of legal issues, including: business and real estate litigation, personal injury claims, probate litigation, and a wide variety of family law related claims. I am now happy to draw on my 11 years of general civil litigation experience and focus my practice solely on family law related claims. Family relationships are the source of many of life's greatest joys and when those relationships change, it can be a source of great stress and anxiety. In addition to the emotional consequences, changing family relationships also have long-lasting financial consequences. Finally, changing family dynamics often affect not only the relationship of the parties involved, but also the parties' relationships with children and other family members. As an attorney, I pride myself on helping clients to gain an understanding to allow them to make practical decisions about how to transition their family relationship in such a way that they can move forward with the next phases of their lives.
