Gregory A McBroom

Greg McBroom, Esq., Managing Partner of Smith McBroom, PLLC, is a dedicated trial attorney known for his tireless advocacy and impressive track record in securing justice for his clients. A former structural engineer with 13 years at Boeing, Greg shifted careers to pursue his passion for law, earning his degree from Seattle University. His transition from defense litigation to plaintiff advocacy was driven by his pro bono work, including his pivotal role in the Rekhter v. Dept. of Social & Health Services case, which resulted in a $96 million verdict against the state of Washington.

Since co-founding Smith McBroom in 2018, Greg has continued to secure significant victories, including a $7.6 million verdict in JH v. Sumner-Bonney Lake School District (2023). His strategic approach, deep legal knowledge, and client-first philosophy set him apart.

Greg is admitted to practice in multiple courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is actively involved in several legal organizations and frequently presents at industry conferences. Outside the courtroom, Greg enjoys the outdoors, cooking with his wife of 33 years, and sharing his love for family and community.
