I needed a lawyer to fight an expensive speeding violation. My friends have had good luck with him so I gave him a try. His office didn't necessarily give me a play-by-play, but I'm busy and in the end, he got the ticket dismissed. I would use his services again.

I came into contact with Jim through a referral and needed him to defend me with a traffic ticket. We had a phone conversation and I followed up with an email containing the necessary documentation. When I asked him about payment, he suggested $100 and that I could pay him later. I didn't hear from Jim and decided to follow up. He said my emails never reached him so he concluded I wasn't serious about hiring an attorney. He recited his email, which I read letter for letter to the address I sent and after a lot of wasted time, agreed that I was in fact serious and expected him to represent me. After the hearing, I was issued a fine and penalties by the courts. Jim didn't do anything. I followed up with additional email, texts and calls. Several days later, he answered his phone confirming he would visit the courthouse and represent my ticket. As you can probably conclude that never happened. Now this ticket is on my record and Jim is unreachable. Never hire Jim. Of all the attorneys I have tried to hire, he is the worst.
