Best DV, divorce and child abuse lawyer

If you are lucky enough to be able to retain her, do not walk, run as fast as you can to retain her. 5 star is not enough, I would have given her 10 stars if there was one. She knows domestic violence so well (especially when there is no direct physical violence), best advise I ever got. She was str...aight at point and knows exactly what to do. I interviewed so many lawyers, but no one understood DV like her. Not only she is an amazing lawyer, she is also an incredible human being. My initial consultation went over an hour instead of half an hour. She felt so bad for me she kept on giving me advise and resources. She advised me what to do and what to prepare. Did not charge me for the extra time. Next I took another appointment for consultation. This time at least I though I will be paying her. She only gave me advise and resources and consulted me what to do. I begged her to charge me, she did not even charge me and only said, you take care first. Next an urgent situation occurred, and I called her, she herself answered my call and again only advise and resources. I begged her to take my case. Unfortunately, she did not have the capacity to take my case at the time. Then my attorney quit and I panicked and called her. She answered again. Never ever charged me anything. I do not know how to repay her.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
