Greatful for her intervention

She handled the divorce and then a few years later, when my ex told me that mtlake terrace & shoreline were to far away for regular visitation, sharon drafted a letter that set things straight. Sharons response almost made me cry when she said "too far away, no, too far away is like....whatever dist...ant city she said". Logic and common sense was her actions that dads and moms were parents. She negotiated 2 weeks on 2 weeks off visitation. My life was in such a daze i never really thanked her

Very disappointed - beware of gender bias

I hired Sharon years ago to handle the dissolution of my marriage and development of a parenting plan. I made it very clear during our first consultation that I was seeking an attorney who was willing to request a co-parenting arrangement (equal time/decision making) even while I understood custody ...would likely go to the mother; so that it would always be on the record for my children that this was something I sought. A few thousand dollars later, I received the first draft of a parenting plan to review which was nothing like we discussed (every other weekend). And when I spoke to Sharon, she refused to request a greater amount of time under the argument that “the court would laugh at our request”. Long story short, I hired another attorney who had no concerns with requesting a co-parenting arrangement whereas we actually ended up with far more parenting time than Sharon was willing to request (every Tues, Thurs; and every other weekend). Sadly, my discussions with Sharon led me to believe she is biased against men as caregivers (as the court clearly had no issue us simply making the request). And as a professional, she never offered to refund the money I paid for a parenting plan we both understood was not what I had requested.

Sharon is one of the best

I learned about Sharon from a former paralegal of hers. Sharon was the only attorney whose support staff were highly enthusiastic. Sharon lived up to and exceeded my expectations. She was kind, understanding, and supportive, in addition to keeping me informed about progress and the implications of an...y decisions I had to make. Divorce is a messy process, and Sharon worked to make it as smooth as she could. I would readily recommend Sharon in any matter related to family law.

From a client

I needed a lawyer who could do everything possible, including helping keep me in check, for a peaceful divorce given our young child, but also a lawyer who was ready and able to go to trial and win if necessary. I can't help but think having a strong, experienced trial lawyer helps deter scare tacti...cs. We had a very peaceful divorce, and over 3 years later everyone gets along well and our child is well adjusted. Since then I've referred her to a family member, who also had a great experienced. Being a practicing attorney, I'm picky, and I'm a huge fan of Sharon.
