I had never had to hire an attorney before, but it was my very good fortune that after my car accident, I was directed to Maria Diamond. Maria was amazing! She drove over to meet me as I was still hurt from the accident and driving to her would have been difficult. She listened to what happened. e...xplained how the process would work, and provided incredible support throughout the entire process. She not only took on the other party's insurance company, she ensured that my insurance company did not take part of the settlement (I did not know insurance companies can do that, but apparently they can!). My case went to arbitration and was won. Maria is a consummate professional. I would recommend her without reservation to anyone who needs legal assistance after a car accident.

I hired Maria Diamond to handle an auto accident case and a medical mal-practice case. She promised to be in our corner and guide us through the difficult legal stuff that was required to be done. My wife and I were seriously injured by the accident and also we were suffering from the medical facilit...y failing to do what they were by law to do. They misdiagnosed and by their in actions, she bled internally for 4 days, and had to undergo an emergency spleen removal, and I had to have 3 surgeries, because of the medical mistake. We needed more than what Maria was willing to do for us, she requested us to send all correspondences to her, and let her handle all the medical negotiations and we did. That would have been grand, if she had actually did something. She did not negotiate with the medical providers as she promised, and the results from her not doing what she promised several month later after me sending her a summons I received, she never did anything nor did she notify me that she was not going to answer the summons, she didn't even bother to inform me that she was not going to negotiate as we was expecting her to do what she said she would do and to protect our interest. This did not happen, she got angry when I questioned why she let the summons move into default judgment. She managed to collect over $70,000.00 and left us in the lurch, with no representation. Now we will see how she answers my complaint when the cases go up for review by the Washington State Bar Association. I am so unhappy with the way Maria Diamond treated us. I had to hire another attorney to do what she refused to do. She dragged her feet up until the time the statutes of limitation was about to expire on the case.

I didn't have much experience working with a lawyer before working with Maria, but I was instantly impressed with her professionalism, her obvious experience in the field and my comfort in her presence. Her background in the Personal Injury field was very comforting to me when I was choosing a lawyer... to help me through my case. March of 2015, I was rear ended in a car accident and had some injuries that felt pretty significant. Just having the initial consultation, I was still unsure if I wanted to hire an attorney for my case. Maria was very informative on what exactly my options were if I would like to move forward with representation, what it might look like being represented by her, what the different insurance companies involved are like as well as what would it look like if I didn't choose to move forward with representation. I quickly chose to work with Maria. Through the process Maria kept me thoroughly updated on the progress of my case through email which worked very well for me. She also was happy to meet with me if I had any questions on what was difficult for me to understand through email. She also sent me copies of any letters that were sent to anyone involved in the case including insurance companies. I can't say enough good things about Maria. She truly is a pleasure to work with especially through obvious frustrations that come out of a case like this, and although we joke about how we "hope we won't have to see each other again" if I'm in the situation where I need assistance, I wouldn't hesitate to give her a call.
