Exceptional Elder Law & Guardianship Expertise

My experience with Mr. Michael Olver and Helsell Fetterman was exceptional. His experience with Elder Law and Guardianships was paramount for me to make it through a very complex guardianship of my medically incapacitated Mother who was confined to a skilled nursing facility. I was awarded guardian...ship of person and estate behind a DPOA that had mismanaged funds, embezzled and abandoned their duties. The debts that the previous DPOA incurred were astounding. This included outstanding nursing home board, back real estate & income taxes, bank accounts, and numerous other incidentals we discovered along the way. I faced a complete nightmare. The complexity was way beyond my scope of knowledge and my attorney at the time immediately referred me to Mr. Olver due to his expertise with Elder Law. Mr. Olver’s Paralegal contacted me right away. Himself and an associate quickly met with me in to discuss the situation which was a complete mess. They helped me with hearings, Guardianship reports, debt management and helped me work with the nursing home. This took many, many hours of legal time to sort through information, investigate and prepare for numerous hearings. He helped solve problems I thought were way beyond repair. Their support went on for many years given the complexity. Mr. Olver, Paralegals Nikki and Jennifer, Helsell Fetterman attorneys and all other staff were always professional, prompt and communicated in a timely manner. I was so fortunate to have been referred to this amazing firm. I recommend Mr. Michael Olver with confidence if you seek an Elder Law expert. You will get thorough professional advice. Mr. Olver and his team are detail oriented, non-pretentious, accountable and take the time to ensure you understand your options. He truly cares about his clients and most of all, he has compassion for the elderly for whom he advocates. I can’t thank this firm enough for their support.
