Detail oriented, on-point family attorney

I found Mr. Sable on Google search when I was looking for a family law attorney to take on my case for a child support modification that was filed by my ex-husband. I called his office to inquire and scheduled an appointment for a consultation. My husband and I were impressed on how professional he w...as and decided to hire him the same day. Mr. Sable was on point and did not waste time which I really appreciate because lets face it, attorney fees aren't cheap. I have had my fair share of wasting my money on attorneys that are incompetent and being in a worse situation than I already was. Mr. Sable was very thorough in my case and what I like about him the most is, he doesn't like to be bullied. I came from a high-conflict divorce and my ex-husband is an as* and manipulative. Mr. Sable did not just fought for my case hard but also gave me advises that are not even child support related. He also helped me build my confidence when dealing with my ex-husband which I greatly appreciate. I was very happy with how the modification turned out. If it wasn't for his thorough work and research, I would have end up paying more than I should. I will definitely contact him again for my family law needs in the future.

High Conflict Divorce

Mr. Sable had been referred to me by another lawyer when he became ineligible to represent me after my then wife complained of a conflict of interest. A stall tacit by then wife who also was the petitioner (go figure). Mr. Sable quickly took up my case and together we were able to work out a stra...tegy to deal with my then wife's refusal to settle on anything pre trial. I had tried settlement, I had tried reaching out to her directly, asked Mr. Sable to reach out to her for settlement., and even reached out to her friend who was helping her with her legal work. She wanted no part of a reasonable settlement period. Had my then wife settled on what I was offering at settlement, she would have walked away with more money and I would have had less time with my children than what I got from the Judge. Once my ex knew I was serious about getting a divorce finalized, she attempted to have the case thrown out. She now wanted a legal separation so she could stay on my medical insurance. I had offered her a separation agreement when we physically separated 20 months prior that would allowed that. It was at this point where I thought Mr. Sable earned his pay. He quickly found the case law to successfully argue that I had a right to proceed to trial, get a decree, and be able to move on with my life. After my ex had wasted 8 hours of mediation, several reach out attempts, and me having to spend a considerable amount of money on legal fees, I wanted this to be finished. At trial, my then wife went pro se after failing to get her business in order. The judge in the case was extremely patient with her. The ex had all kinds of arguments why the trail needed to be delayed including that her mother was dying (no kidding). Her mother is still alive as of July 2013. Mr. Sable again shot down all of these arguments and the trial proceeded. My then ex did everything in her power to inject drama into the process and was really wanting me to be shamed by the courts. My ex never got it in her head that this in a no -fault state. ( I was a less than a perfect husband, but I am a good father.) Mr. Sable was a calming force in the court room and along with the judge was able to get the trial done. Mr. Sable provided me the guidance I very much needed to hear, not so much the guidance I wanted to hear. I will not say this process was easy, it took a lot of work on my part. I have learned that when you are in litigation, it is a team effort. Mr Sable worked hard for me, at the same time, I took the direction and gave him the documents he needed to fight on my behalf. I suggest you do the same. Bottom line, if you are faced with a high conflict divorce like I was, get Mr. Sable.
