Biography
Olga is a U.S. - licensed attorney (Washington State) specializing in business immigration law. Olga graduated with an LLM in U.S. Law from the Antonin Scalia School of Law at George Mason University and an LLB (Common Law) from the University of London, England. Prior to joining Stelmakh and Associates, a Seattle-based boutique immigration firm, Olga led U.S. immigration practice at BCF Business Law, a large multidisciplinary firm in Montréal, Canada. Specialties: Business immigration and international workforce mobility law, work permits under Trade NAFTA, E-1 / E-2 Treaty Traders/Treaty Investors, L-1A/B Multinational Managers and Specialists, U.S. Permanent Residence ("Green Card"), U.S. inadmissibility waivers (criminal). Extensive experience with Reentry permits and naturalization applications, reports of Birth Abroad (Claim of U.S. citizenship through parent/grandparent), expedited naturalization and renunciation of U.S. citizenship for dual nationals. Experience includes responses to requests for evidence (RFE’s) and PERM audits, preparation of multi-entity Blanket PetitionsOlga began her career at Olga a prominent think tank in Washington, D.C., where she focused on U.S. immigration policy research and U.S.-Russian bilateral relations. She is also the recipient of a number of prestigious international scholarships, including the U.S. Department of State’s Edmund E. Muskie Graduate Fellowship Program (2001-2003); and has interned with The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. Olga is fluent in English, Russian, and French and is learning Ukrainian, her father's native language.
