Kyle Holdridge

I represent consumers in debt settlement, debt litigation (FDCPA, RCW 19.16 and 86), tenants’ rights, and bankruptcy proceedings, with a special emphasis on student loan relief.

Every client’s situation is different, and I enjoy the challenge of figuring out which solution is best in each individual case. This is particularly true of student loan law, which features a dizzying array of repayment and forgiveness programs—IBR, ICR, PAYE, REPAYE/SAVE, PSLF, the new RAP, as well as Washington’s state-level programs like HEAL and IHS—in addition to the usual options of pursuing litigation, settlement, or bankruptcy. I focused on contract law in law school, and take a special interest in securitization or “chain of title” issues in student loan cases, as well as contract language and interpretation on the tenants’ rights side.

I worked blue collar jobs for a number of years before finishing my B.A. in jurisprudence, then helped build a pizza delivery business before going to law school. I worked in the back office at Washington Debt Law for the first several years of my legal practice, mastering the skills I would need to give clients the quality of representation that they deserve. I currently live in Seattle, but range all across the state on a regular basis to serve my clients. When I’m not practicing law, I have a side gig as a choral musician who trains church choirs, and I enjoy studying the history and philosophy of medieval Europe, India, and Tibet.
