Reanna billed me $4500 just in reviewing my case, with no drafts or clearly articulated strategy beyond suggesting two motions to file. She put frequent pressure on me to consent to expensive drafting without first aligning on the case strategy, or outlining what the specific goals and protentional c...onsequences of those draft were. I didn't learn until after consulting with a different attorney that one of the motions would likely involve a 3-9 month process, which I couldn't afford if $4500 didn't even get a court draft started. Reanna would frequently would provide partial answers or no answer at all to my questions, which prompted me to send follow up emails to obtain clarity - which she also billed me for. The itemization and hours on my bill didn't add up to the overall output and advice I had received from her. I ended up needing to withdraw from the firm after she had cost me more than half my budget with no output to show for it. The the firm was kind enough to discount me for my experience. After receiving the discount, I hired a more experienced attorney at another firm and he accomplished my goals in about 20% of the cost. My experience aligns heavily with the lesson that lower rates does not mean lower cost.

I hired Reanna to help with a parenting custody court case, and she honestly didn’t help. When it came to legal vice, she always told me that she had to look it up and would get back to me. I had to file my own civil protection order because she would not then when it came down to my husband needing ...to relocate with his job. She told me that I could not cross state lines with my daughter. Reanna left is with no other option. Leaving me to find out that you can file a motion to relocate and see a judge.
