As an attorney, I like to operate off of the best information available. Sometimes the legal system is overly complicated and clients should understand all decisions they are making as they proceed in an amicable or contentious divorce. The vast majority of my cases involve domestic violence, custody, de facto parentage, legal and dissolution. I have experience working with clients who have complex matters that involve criminal matters, CPS, and concurrent civil cases.

Not represented well
Do not use Julie or this team for Child custody law. She is intelligent, but ultimately Julie could not execute where it mattered most in my case to protect my children. Response times were missed at critical moments that turned into owing thousands more than I have. A response was completely missed,...
While we always appreciate critical reviews so we can learn and improve, this review is not accurate. This review comes six (6) months after our withdrawal and two (2) months after having a negative outcome in court. Most importantly, no response was missed. We withdrew from this Client's case on September 18th, effective on September 28th. According to the docket, at the time of first contempt hearing on November 14th, we had already been withdrawn from his case for six (6) weeks. At the time of the second contempt hearing, we had been withdrawn for nearly four (4) months. This Client was representing himself for the Contempt hearings which resulted in him owing fees and which occurred well after representation ended. If a Response was missed, this Client failed to file it himself, not this office. Financial wise, we do not give "final" amounts to anyone and this client was repeatedly informed that his case would be expensive given the complications and added motions. Additionally, the Client was notified work still accumulates during the Notice of Intent to Withdraw period in order to keep a client apprised of what is happening in their case. Lastly, there is still an unpaid outstanding balance.

Highly Recomment
Julie and her team helped me through the worst time in my life. Separating from an abusive x, they not only helped me get majority custody of my child, but also got the court to order a domestic violence evaluation. I had zero experience with the legal system and was terrified after being manipulated...
"Julie is a diligent attorney who comprehends the intricacies of Family Law. She aims to resolve cases with minimal conflict but will litigate when necessary. I have worked with Julie at a prior law firm and found her to be compassionate. She is a colleague I would happily refer cases to."
