Devon Cole Diaz

Devon Diaz is a dedicated family law attorney who brings compassion, clarity, and strategic focus to his clients’ most personal legal matters. Born and raised in Southern California, Devon earned his bachelor’s degree in History from the University of California, Los Angeles before heading north to attend Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon.

While in law school, Devon earned his Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law and held multiple leadership positions, including serving as President of Students for International Environmental Law and founding Law Students for Climate Accountability. His commitment to community earned him the Environmental, Natural Resources, and Energy Law Leadership Award in 2023.

After graduating, Devon obtained his District of Columbia Bar License and contributed to a large-scale antitrust project before being admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2024. Prior to joining Hemmat Law Group, he represented clients in Clark and Cowlitz counties as a family law attorney, where he developed a strong foundation in advocacy, litigation, and client care.
