Courtland Theodore Shafer

I hired Courtland Shafer and, in my experience, he is a very disorganized lawyer. He fails to communicate to his client about the motions that were filed by the opposition and very shockingly will not even respond to those motions completely neglecting his client. He won’t even forward critical email...s and when confronted about why he failed to forward those emails, then he would brush them off by saying there were too many emails to deal with. His demonstrated insufficient knowledge of relevant laws and procedures. He failed to advise us on the strengths and weaknesses of the case and potential consequences. When it came to advocate on our behalf, Courtland freezes in front of the judge. I won’t hire him ever again in future.

I would not hire this law firm or Courtland Shafer. I have experience hiring numerous attorneys in the past and I hired Courtland Shafer for several matters. Hiring Courtland Shafer was the biggest mistake, ever. In my view, he is grossly incompetent and cares only about his interest. He was a misera...ble attorney. He even breached my attorney client privilege. I cannot emphasize how awful of a job I believe Courtland Shafer did. I would give him 0 out of 5 stars if that was a possibility.
