I have worked with Barry Abbott for almost 30-years in big financial service companies and startups. Barry is a critical thinker not shy about challenging managers, but always supporting his positions in the best interests of his clients and their products. He has been at the forefront of innovative products that have revolutionized banking, mortgage banking and insurance. Barry has and will always be sought after for his counsel in helping creative design and implementation teams.

Barry Abbott has been engaged by the companies and banks for which I have worked on several occasions to advise on legal and business matters. These were premier companies and banks, and required the best in advice and counsel. The matters were complex, and the areas of law were challenging. Barry delivered outstanding counsel and the performance of the team of attorneys he assembled and led met or exceeded requirements in each instance. Given the scope and complexity of certain of these matters, it was important to maintain constant control and communication regarding the issues and the fees. Barry communicated timely and effectively, both with good news and disappointments.
The first of these engagements was in the mid-1980's and have continued through the present.
His technical knowledge (and reputation) are second to none.

I have worked with Barry for over ten years. He has taken on a multitude of tasks ranging from transaction oriented assignments to specific consultations on various strategic legal strategies. In all cases Barry has proven to be on the right side of the issues as they related to me. Barry recently moved firms and I have moved with him. I hope to have a fruitful and productive relationship with Barry for years to come.
