Karen is an incredible lawyer. She was professional, savvy, and decisive, making what was a disempowering wrongful termination experience into an empowering process for me. She was open about all processes, consulted me regularly and kept me well informed. Not only was she professional, but also ...compassionate toward me as her client. Reminding me to take care of myself during the legal process. She frequently checked in just to see how I was doing and overall it was a very human experience. She brought a great deal of wisdom alongside her knowledge, both extensive, and it was a pleasure to have her as my lawyer because she gave me confidence in our case and modeled that confidence in all her communications. 10/10 would recommend.

Hired Karen as I was looking to get into a new business venture and wanted to make sure all my bases were covered. Her experience, not only from a legal perspective, but from having a background in business and business formation made her a great resource. She was able to draft a sound operating agre...ement. She was able to give me real advise about the risks and things that I could do to protect the interests of myself and my family. When it didn’t work out she was still there, ready willing and able to provide any assistance she could. I really appreciate her insight as well as her honesty. Some of the things I was going to need to dive into did not fall in her area of expertise, so she offered to refer me to an individual that specialized in that particular area. Her billing practices are fair, transparent, and to me, seem very client focused. That being said, I will continue to reach out to Karen first for all my legal needs, trusting that she is more than capable of takeing care of me, and knowing that she will refer me to the right people if it is in my best interest.

I cannot speak highly enough of Karen Klein. She recently represented me in a wrongful termination dispute. When I realized that my employer was looking for a reason to fire me, and was engaging in unethical conduct, I contacted other attorneys who said to wait and see what happens, and then contac...t them if I am fired. Luckily, I then found Karen and she advised me: "Do not meet with your employer without at attorney, and if you must (the meeting was happening that day, and she was unavailable), don't say anything, just call me after". She was so right. She worked hard, kept me up to date on all that was happening, gave me her advice and listened to my input. We eventually got a fair settlement. She was willing to take this to court, but advised me that it could possibly take a couple of years, cost me a lot of money, and my winning the case was not a "slam dunk". She was thinking about what was best for me, and not how much money she could make. Not only was Karen's legal advice superb, but she was a great emotional support to me, understanding how being fired can be traumatic (this was the first time anything like this ever happened to me). She also gave me advice regarding unemployment and looking for other jobs. I would recommend her without reservations.
