I started my adjustment of status last year, and Octavian was exceptionally patient and helpful in assisting us throughout the process. Octavian helped prepare and guide us through the daunting Green Card application process. He prepared all forms & compiled additional information we provided to make a good case in approving my husband for a Green Card. My husband had some questionable moments in his history of entering the US on an... overstayed visa, as well as a false criminal charge against him that was ultimately cleared from his record, but Octavian was optimistic he still had a good chance of being approved for his Green Card. After waiting 15 months after turning in the Green Card application and packet, we were finally notified to report to DHS for the interview. When we met with Octavian to prepare for the interview, he had us provide further information that he assembled into a separate packet, which included recent pictures of us and our family, and recent tax info, joint financial documents, etc.as well as the sealed I693 med exam. He spent some time conducting mock interview questions with my husband and me separately to prepare us for the interview. My husband and I work full time, so we appreciate that Octavian was able to meet with us on a few different Sundays during this entire process, and even dealt with us bringing our baby, now toddler daughter to the office. He accompanied us to the interview and even provided a Spanish translator for my husband if he needed additional interpretation during the interview. All the hard work paid off, our interview went well, and I have to give credit to Octavian for compiling the packet of recent info as this included new pictures of my husband, daughter, me, and our family. The immigration officer reacted very well to our pictures which created a good connection to us, and we are thrilled that my husband got his Green Card in a little over one week after the interview!
