choose your lawyer wisely

if you are reading this, I know you have already made a poor choice in your life and you are looking for a good lawyer. You are about to make another mistake if you are thinking about hiring this guy. Let me tell you about my experience for hiring this guy. Just like you, I have been in trouble with ...the law and trying to start over with my life so, I hired this guy to expunge my record. I read this information online and he seemed like a guy who could help me because a lot of attorney refused to help my case. I first met him in March to discuss about my case. He originally charged me with 2500 for my case but it was 3500 on the paper-work(I know it should have been my first warning). So I confronted him about it, he said it was just the typo. He said that I had 50% with my case and it would take about 2 months to know the answer. I waited patiently in the 2 months with no answer from him or the court. I decided to call him in May asking him about the status of the case. I was informed by his secretary that it would take another 2 weeks because it haven't heard anything from them. I tried to call him back and was assured that my case would go to the court in another 2 weeks. It kept going on like this for couple of more times. Eventually I had enough and demanded to speak with him on the phone. They said he was in court all day but I could hear his voice in the background. So the next day I called him for more than 20 times and eventually he picked up the phone. He said that I scared his co-workers and all that. But he tried to avoid my problem when being asked about it. I was assured that my case would be resolved in August. In August, I called him back because I hadn't heard from him again. I found he had move to different location( 2 block aways) because I tracked him down(he had never informed me about his new location). So I reported him to the BAR associations that was informed that the couldn't take any disciplinary actions against him because I couldn't contact him. So I came to his new office without notifying him because I was afraid that he might make excuses not to speak with me. And yes, he was in the office and looked pretty surprise seeing me there. So I demanded my money back and he started making all kind of excuses, put words in my mouth. Eventually he asked for another 2 weeks to get my case resolved. So I gave him 2 weeks because I was thinking that some cases might take years to solve. Another 2 weeks had passed and I called him again. As you can guess, he wasn't there to pick up my phone. So I contacted the BAR association against I had not heard any reply from them. So I took the matter in my own hand. I plan another surprise meeting with him. I was him was siting in his office and demanded my money back. He threatened to call the police because he said he was trespassing. His coworker heard the commotion and came over asking him if he needed to call the security. I told his co-worker to go ahead and call the police because I wanted him to come anyway. Eventually he gave back my money. Before doing so, he verbally assaulted me. But all the didn't bother me because I finally got my money back. All of the frustration that built in me was released after 9 months. I want to write this review because I don't want you to have to deal with the same my experience.
