My experience with Matthew Webbeking was one of the biggest disappointments I have ever had with a professional service. I hired this attorney during one of the most stressful and important periods of my life, trusting that he would fight for my interests, provide clear guidance, and help me navig...ate a difficult family law case. Instead, I walked away feeling financially drained, ignored, and deeply disappointed with the representation I received. The amount of money I paid was substantial, yet I struggle to identify what value I actually received in return. I was charged significant fees, but I did not see the level of effort, preparation, communication, or advocacy that I expected for the amount I was paying. As the bills continued to grow, my confidence in the representation continued to decline. Communication throughout the case was frustrating. Getting clear answers was often difficult, and I frequently felt left in the dark about important developments. Family court cases are stressful enough without having to constantly chase your own attorney for information. Unfortunately, that became part of my experience. The office communication was also a challenge. At times, I had difficulty understanding information being provided by staff, which only added more confusion and frustration to an already complicated legal process. When you are paying premium legal fees, you expect professional and effective communication. That expectation was not met. What hurts the most is that I trusted the promises and expectations that were presented to me when I hired the firm. I believed my case would receive attention, preparation, and a strong legal strategy. Instead, I felt like just another file being processed while the invoices kept increasing. The final outcome of my case was extremely disappointing. Looking back, I honestly feel that hiring this firm made an already difficult situation even more stressful. Not only did I experience a result that I was unhappy with, but I was also left with significant legal expenses and the feeling that my concerns were never truly prioritized. If I could go back in time, I would seek representation elsewhere. I cannot recommend Matthew Webbeking based on my experience. Before hiring this firm, I strongly encourage anyone considering their services to carefully review all fee arrangements, ask detailed questions about communication and case strategy, and explore other options before committing. I trusted this firm during one of the most important moments of my life. Unfortunately, I left feeling overcharged, unsupported, and deeply disappointed.
