Lauren Kingston

Ms. Kingston is an intellectual property attorney with a special interest in international and domestic copyright law and enforcement as well as entertainment law issues. Ms. Kingston has advised various clients on the protection and pursuit of their intellectual property rights. In addition to her legal experience, she also has practical experience creating intellectual property in the television industry. Accordingly, she recognizes a client’s concerns about their idea from inception to protection. Ms. Kingston also has conducted research on various constitutional issues affecting intellectual property, such as free speech.

Ms. Kingston received her Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Later, she received her Juris Doctorate from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California where she was a member of Law Review and obtained several awards. After living in Southern California for eight years, Ms. Kingston relocated to Seattle, Washington to pursue a career in intellectual property law. Ms. Kingston is admitted to the State Bar of Washington. Her professional affiliations include the American Bar Association, Washington State Bar Association, and King County Bar Association.
