Excellent Estate Resolution

Nick helped my family settle our grandmother's estate. He was very knowledgeable in the matter and helped us navigate a complex situation involving substantial assets. I appreciated the time he spent researching and presenting our options and working with us every step of the way during a challengin...g time for our family. He was excellent at communication, very matter of fact, and responded to my questions and requests in a timely manner. I highly recommend Nick in assisting with estate planning and resolution.

Thank you!!!

I originally heard of Archer Price Law Firm and Nick from a colleague of mine who had an amazing experience with his services. I was not disappointed! From the very first conversation Nick gave me the most valuable consultation, explained the process of how to proceed and what to expect with a divor...ce case. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous and realistic of the process. Going through a divorce is very overwhelming, however Nick and his team took care of all the legal documents, emails, communication and made me feel assured that my case was in the best hands. If you are looking for someone who is diligent, pays attention to detail, honest and can resolve a case especially with a sensitive timeline, than Archer Price Law Firm is the for you! Thank you for helping me get a fresh start in life, I will always recommend you to my friends and colleagues.

After 2 years of research the claim was denied on summary judgement

I contacted Mr. Price on a civil matter; I had purchased a property where the previous owners had built buildings without permits. The ex-wife of the previous property owner made a complaint years later that the buildings were built without permits, and even though the lack of permits was not disclo...sed to me and I didn't do it, I have been required to get the permits for the buildings in question. My question to Mr. Price was: Do I have cause to sue the previous owners? I paid thousands of dollars over the course of 2 years for him to research this question, and the answer back was "yes". I then asked the question if there was any chance that if I started a lawsuit that I would be liable for the opposing sides legal fees, and was told no, that I had been damaged, and that was unlikely. So I paid more thousands of dollars and started the suit, and had it dismissed on summary judgement with an award of fees and costs to the other side. This was the worst result possible: Mr. Prices firms response? Better pay the fees and costs, because there's no possiblility we will win on appeal and we don't want them to pursue collection activities! So the better part of $10k paid to Mr. Prices firm, and thousands to the other side, and I sincerely wish he had said to me "Nope, you got no case that will survive a summary judgement" - which turns out to be the case. He's a nice guy. Very cheerful, very optimistic. Probably great to drink a beer with. But as an attorney in a civil matter, after 2 years of research and thousands of dollars in fees, not the guy I would like to counsel me in legal matters. Your results may vary.

Thorough guidance for Operating Agremeent

Nick was very helpful in guiding me through the process of an Operating Agreement between myself and my business partners. In addition, he took the time to explain best practices for small businesses to ensure that we were operating above board, and would be protected in a variety of different situat...ions. I had no experience with either before talking to him and his explanations were still clear and comprehensible for me.

Avoid for Family Law Matters

I hired Nicholas Price the first time to work on a real estate matter - buying out my ex husband from the home we bought together and transferring title. While that process encountered a myriad of delays, which Archer Price has attributed solely to King County bureaucracy, I know for certain that the...y did not file within our originally agreed upon timeframe. But fine, everything worked out it just took a bit longer. However! I then hired Archer Price for a prenuptial agreement designed to protect this house I'd fought so hard to keep. The language they used did NOT, in fact, do that. It would have awarded 40% of any an all equity to the other party (who only bought in at 10%) in the event of a divorce. They left a gaping hole exposing my most valuable asset even after they were already familiar with the intricacies! THEN, once this was discovered, I was told that the $2000 I paid already was "exhausted" and I would have to pay more money for any further modifications or negotiations. In the same breath, I also got a lecture about how I can't expect a first pass to be sufficient and that's *why* these things are negotiated... In that case, I shouldn't have been charged for a "complete" piece of work that was never intended to be complete. After a series of emails asking for a refund, they would not provide that but offered to finish out the negotiations and prenup work without further cost. No thank you. At this point I don't trust that they know what they're doing or can represent my best interests. I've had to switch attorneys and start all over again at great expense. Maybe they're a fine practice for real estate matters, but NOT for family law.

Thank you for your message, and we understand your frustration with the process. Ultimately, we of course want you to be a happy client. Even though we are confident that we fulfilled our engagement (and went above and beyond), and that the language you’re referring to in the agreement does not have the implication you think it does, we’d still stand ready—and would be more than happy—to re-write that sentence for you, which we understand to be the core of your dissatisfaction. As we discussed with you during our numerous phone calls and emails for the project, we’re still happy to re-write that sentence for you. We know that legal matters can be very frustrating and complex, and even though we don’t agree with your legal analysis, we want you to be a satisfied client. We’d still be more than happy to help, and feel free to send us an email if you’d like to discuss things further. If not, we truly wish you the best of luck, and feel free to let us know if you’d like to discuss anything further.

"I have known Mr. Price since our early days of law school. Even as a student, Mr. Price approached the law with both curiosity and meticulous precision, and I believe one would be hard pressed to find counsel with such a sincere appreciation for the nuances of legal doctrine. In addition to this innate passion for the law, Mr. Price brings to his work a clear understanding that client satisfaction is of preeminent importance. Notwithstanding the limitations posed by either the facts or applicable law, Mr. Price always endeavors to obtain the best achievable outcomes for those whom he represents. Indeed, Mr. Price has always approached his work with commendable passion and integrity, and it for these reasons that I have no reservation in endorsing him."
