Substantial Public Disclosure settlement claim

I had been searching for a lawyer to help with a DOC visiting issue I was having with a loved one who is incarcerated. I was very emotional and was looking for any kind of relief that would allow me to once again see my person inside. Mike took the time to listen to my story while many other lawyer...s were not willing to even do that. In the end there was not much legal grounds regarding the visiting issue; however, there became a clear case for a public disclosure lawsuit. Mike took my direction and acted in my best interest. He moved the case forward as we needed so DOC was clear we were serious about the amount of settlement I was after. In the end we hit our number and I was grateful for Mike's preperation and negotiation skills. I would recommend Mike for any DOC issue as he has the experience and the knowledge to bring a viable lawsuit forward to success. My experience with Mike tells me he will be straight about the viability of the potential lawsuit and once he takes your case he'll work tirelessly to get the result you're looking for. Thanks Mike I appreciate your work and will certainly recommend you to my many friends who are family members of people incarcerated.

Kick ass attorney

Michael is a groundbreaking attorney not afraid to try new approaches to get the favorable result. He saved my freedom and I owe him a debt of gratitude for that. I have referred many clients to Mr. Kahrs and all have thanked me for the referral after Michael was able to secure the desired result for... them. With Michael you will find none of the pretentiousness often associated with attorneys. He won't try to impress you with a flashy office and gold cuff links. No, Michael is a roll up his sleeves and get dirty kind of guy. He will work as hard as I have ever seen an attorney work, (unfortunately, I have had the need for legal help too often).

Finally - an intelligent attorney who's not afraid to rock the boat.

Mike Kahrs is an exceptional attorney who successfully deflected unsubstantiated issues that I had with the DOC while incarcerated. I wish I'd had him as my defense attorney because his intelligence, kindness, and unwavering ethics would have caused me to prevail in my case rather than become incarc...erated. His willingness to do whatever it took in his fight for justice left quite a few people disliking him, however, he got the job done for me. Thank you, Mike. You're awesome.

"Michael Kahrs is one of the few attorneys I turn to when I have a question about lawsuits involving the Department of Corrections. His knowledge of the law and DOC procedures, combined with his dedication to his clients, makes him a worthy advocate for his clients. I have referred clients to him in the past and I will continue to do so in the future."
