About me

Since law school, I have specialized in representing individuals against overreaching governmental actions.  I assist individuals incarcerated in the Washington Department of Corrections.  I litigate Public Records Act cases against public entities while asserting the public's right to know what their government is doing.  I also assist individuals constitutionally challenge their conviction in post-conviction proceedings including filing writs of habeas corpus in federal court on their behalf.  Let me help you.

Michael Kahrs is one of the few attorneys I turn to when I have a question about lawsuits involving the Department of Corrections. His knowledge of the law and DOC procedures, combined with his dedication to his clients, makes him a worthy advocate for his clients. I have referred clients to him in the past and I will continue to do so in the future.
