William T. McKay

I work in depth with my clients and their companies to help them find practical solutions to their business and litigation problems.  My practice is relationship driven.  I take the time to learn about my clients, their needs and goals.  Several of my clients have been with me for over 20 years.  I work with closely held and emerging businesses, nonprofits and business clients in various industries.  I particularly enjoy assisting clients with creative problem solving, corporate governance and strategic planning, essentially serving as “outside general counsel.”

As a former criminal prosecutor and big firm litigator, I have considerable litigation experience covering a broad range of commercial, business, tort and real estate matters.  He has successfully represented clients in federal, superior, district and municipal courts throughout the State of Washington.  

I enjoy representing criminal defendants in misdemeanor and other criminal matters.  It brings me back to my roots as an attorney and allows me to leverage those many contacts that I have maintained in the criminal justice arena.
