Contacted this "attorney" for support with dual citizenship paperwork. Asked a series of questions about how long the turnaround with Berlin will be and implications for the process given the current geo-political climate. Replies were superficial at best citing "that's just the news these days but it's the process." Then she turned the discussions towards fees and costs without offering specifics: $5K-$6.5K for her just to send the necessary paperwork, except she didn't have a list of what paperwork she'd be sending "off hand". Beyond the general vagueness in the interactions, her general appareance and demeanor didn't convey professionalism -- just loudness and talking without answering questions. Seemed desperate to collect the fees.

I met Tanja for a consultation. And guess what, it wasn't helpful at all. Tanja had an attitude that made me think she didn't wanna talk much and wanted to wrap up the consultation as soon as possible. I asked her a few questions and did not get any answers. She was beating around the bush and didn't give a straight forward answer. She boasted about her successful law firm and her familiarity with the court and the judge. However she didn't give me anything concrete that would make me hire her. I had the feeling she was kind of forceful in getting me to sign the contract with her. The other attorneys who I got consultations from were all very thoughtful and answered all my questions in detail which made me get a good idea on how their approach of dealing with my case will be like. But in case of Tanja, she kept evading my questions and didn't give me any idea of how she will approach the case. I felt like she lacked professionalism and focus on her job as an attorney.

We hired Ms. Vance for an immigration case as well. Just like the other reviews said, there was lack of communication and we'd have to send multiple follow-ups to receive a respond, and sometimes no respond. Without going into all the details because it's not worth my time but trust the reviews! Her fees aren't cheap so you'd get your money worth and hire an attorney who is professional and genuinely care about your case.

I endorse this lawyer. Tanja is not happy with a result unless she is "performing a miracle" for a client. An just ok deal is not ok with her, and she will keep pushing until she gets the result she wants, which she always does.
