I went through a particularly difficult divorce: one that involved false criminal allegations and a bitter, vindictive spouse. I hired Serin to handle the civil side of the case (divorce) while I was also going through legal battles on the criminal allegations. Challenging indeed. I never once had... an issue getting a quick response from Serin during this process, and that really put me at ease. In the end, things wrapped up fairly well with the allegations being dismissed and divorce coming to a fair conclusion. I won't say it was a happy ending - it was still expensive, painful, and at times just felt outright unfair; but that's life and the courts are not always fair, especially if you're a male of color with nasty allegations lodged against him. However, what I can say is that Serin was always well-prepared and I never felt she gave it anything less than her 100%. She was certainly way more organized than the opposing counsel and was never the one to miss a deadline (the opposing counsel missed many times). She always gave me objective advice, even when it wasn't what I wanted to hear. The process is not easy, but you need someone with experience, salient advice, and a person who can give you the straight truth. Serin did all that. Overall, I highly recommend this attorney.

I highly recommend Serin! I had a difficult end to a relationship and Serin was very knowledgeable in negotiating the parenting plan.
