The "go to attorney" for real estate issues!

Mike was the second lawyer we hired for an adverse possession claim we had against the commercial neighbors next door after our first counsel was....disappointing... in his advocacy. Mike has been both a thorough and very knowledgeable advocate as well as an incredibly nice guy throughout the whole ...(very long but now over) legal process and I can't recommend him highly enough. My husband and I are both lawyers ourselves so I understand all too well the heavy caseload and many pressures lawyers in fact feel every day. With Mike, it was as if we were his only clients, even though I knew he had dozens of other client obligations. He's stellar and I'd recommend him to anyone.

"I met Mike in 1995 during my first year of law school. His firm hired me as an intern and I had the chance to practice alongside him in the years that followed. Mike is a superb attorney, zealous advocate and good friend. I have referred many clients to him over the years, and he has always done a great job. I recommend Mike without reservation."

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I first met Mike as opposing counsel in a case many years ago. I was impressed both by his effective advocacy, but also by his professionalism. I've referred a number of people to him over the years, and always hear compliments about his work. Finally a few years ago a client of mine needed help with a small construction problem (fighting with a city agency over a permit issue). We hired Mike to help us sort through that issue. He gave good, practical, cost effective advice. I'd hire him again, and recommend him without hesitation."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
