Larissa L. Chan is an estate planning attorney who works closely with individuals and families to prepare personal planning documents. Educating clients about the importance of avoiding estate planning pitfalls, Larissa helps her clients make the best possible decisions for themselves and for their children. Larissa also advises clients on trust administration and probate matters.
To encourage young families to be proactive when preparing estate planning documents, Larissa explains, “Personal and estate planning is particularly important for all families with minor children, regardless of whether your assets are large or small, because it lets you choose a Guardian for your children, avoids unnecessary family conflicts, and offers peace of mind for busy moms and dads.”
Larissa graduated from Seattle University School of Law, where she was a member of the Dispute Resolution Board. Prior to joining RLMA, Larissa gained significant courtroom and trial experience as an Assistant Attorney General, representing the Department of Social and Health Services in dependency and termination cases. Larissa furthered her practice in administrative hearings and appeals through her representation of the Department of Licensed Resources and the Department of Early Learning.
Outside of the office, Larissa stays busy as a mother and avid runner. She also enjoys supporting the local non-profit, Girls on the Run, by regularly volunteering as a running buddy. Girls on the Run encourages young girls to be happy, healthy, and confident through running.

Very pleased
Ms. Chan was wonderful and supportive during my divorce preceding. She had a great presentation and was able to achieve all I was seeking while making me comfortable during the whole processes! I am so grateful for her work.
