Kurt’s practice focuses on real estate, finance, and business transactions. He represents clients in a variety of real estate matters ranging from acquisitions and sales of real property to commercial lease agreements and construction and permanent financing. He also assists clients with general business planning and formation, and structuring entities for ownership and development of real estate projects. Kurt’s interest in corporate social responsibility and work-life balance issues influenced his tenure as Editor in Chief of the Seattle University Law Review, where he oversaw special issues featuring the works of a number of scholars, including Delaware Supreme Court Chief Justice E. Norman Veasey and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. In addition to his practice, Kurt is an adjunct faculty member of the University of Washington School of Law, where he teaches Civil Procedure.
