Generally, they check for warrants. Sometimes they don't. Its random.

Speak to a landlord tenant attorney. Do you still have a lease? See if there are any terms of the lease regarding the police.

You should not be tried as an adult.
I pled guilty to a dui today in Kentucky with a 30 suspension on my license. I live in Tennessee and work in Tennessee.
