Heather Lynn Maloney

Heather Maloney’s practice focuses on Pacific Northwest families in the areas of Family Law, Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements and Estate Planning. Heather handles multiple aspects of Family Law matters including separation, divorce, parenting plans and child support. Whether a new or existing family law matter, Heather is experienced in multiple aspects of family law litigation. Heather provides her clients the input, support and expertise needed to navigate these challenging transitions in a family’s life.

Heather also is experienced in Prenuptial Agreements, Postnuptial Agreements and Cohabitation Agreements and enjoys working with her clients on this matters. A seasoned listener, Heather works collaboatively with her clients to create agreements that reflect and protect her clients interests.

Heather is also an experience estate planner guiding her clients through the estate planning process. This process includes the drafting of Wills, Trusts and Advance Directives such as Healthcare Directives, Power of Attorney for Healthcare and Power of Attorney for Finances.

Heather is a Seattle native and her clients find her to be a natural people person with a positive attitude, flexible mindset and commitment to justice. Heather understands that cases are won on the facts and is diligent in learning all aspects of a case through investigative interviews and detailed research. A member of the Washington State Bar Association and King County Bar Association, she enjoys her involvement in these organizations and staying abreast of current developments in her practice areas. Heather also donates her time as a pro-bono attorney for the King County Bar Association Neighborhood Legal Clinics providing limited legal advice and referrals to county residents who might otherwise have no access to the legal system. Heather finds this volunteer work incredibly rewarding.

In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending weekends hiking in the Issaquah Alps with her dog Reggie, skiing with family in and around the Pacific Northwest and curling up with a cup of tea and a good book.
