Top Divorce Attorney

I retained David after conferring with two different attorneys in what I thought would be a simple, uncontested divorce. As it turned out, it wasn't so simple and I was being set up to be taken over the hurdles. David immediately outlined a strategy and filed revisions and postponements that ultimate...ly saved me about $200,000 and $1500 per month in maintenance charges. He's pragmatic and cost effective. He always gave me the opportunity to assemble documents and do background work, rather than delegate it to him, saving thousands of dollars in billings. During the mediation hearing he was well prepared and out-smarted opposing counsel, winning over the mediator to my argument.

Absolutely wonderful

I've had a rough road with my ex spouse since I separated 8 years ago. I had two family law attorneys before I retained David's services in 2012. My previous attorneys were very good as well, however I found that David's style of working, his knowledge and advice was the best fit for my needs and c...onsistently exceeded my expectations. He represented me for a Child Support modification trial and we prevailed. After this matter was addressed, I've had some situations where I need legal advice and David has been available to answer my questions whether my issues are simple or complex. One thing that I admire about David is that regardless of what the issue is, he is well prepared for our meeting. He is detail oriented and quick in understanding the issues before assessing the situation. He's very knowledgeable of the law and it is immediately that one realizes he's been doing this for years and has vast experience.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
