Alexander D. Foster-Brown is a civil litigator who focuses his practice on employment law, professional liability, and business litigation. Additionally, he drafted and argued motions, pleadings, discovery requests, objections, and responses to discovery requests. He first-chaired and assisted senior attorneys with depositions, mediation, and arbitration hearings. Mr. Foster-Brown was active in the mock trial program, and he won the only defense verdict in the Basic Litigation Skills Mock Trial.
While earning his law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School, Mr. Foster-Brown worked for an Indianapolis-based law firm in their Business Transaction and Litigation groups, as well as their Environmental group developing environmental purchase guidelines.
Mr. Foster-Brown is active in his community and serves as the Board Chairmen for the Washington Initiative for Diversity where he works to provide tools and strategies to help legal employers build an inclusive work environment and a diverse workforce.
Additionally, he is a tutor for the Seattle public libraries, a mock trial coach for the University of Washington Black Law Student Association (BLSA), and offers pro bono and community service to the Washing Defense Trial Lawyers Committee. In his free time, he coaches children’s basketball teams.
