Alex Bretzer Ferguson

I hired Alex to represent me on a small auto accident. I was rear-ended and the other party denied liability. Alex kept in contact and seemed to be moving the case forward for a few weeks, but suddenly dropped off the face of the Earth. I attempted to contact him for several weeks to no avail. Hi...s phone was disconnected, he didn't respond to emails, or messages sent on social networking sites. He gave no indication that he was dropping me as a client and I had to hire a new attorney to finish the case. I don't know if Alex was experiencing personal problems but he did not give me the courtesy of letting me know why he stopped working on my case or communicating. I feel poorly treated and misled. My hope is he figures out if he wants to be an attorney before taking new clients in the future and then delivers the performance he seems capable of. He nearly cost me my settlement by missing deadlines and under-performing. It's a little sad because he seemed quite capable and was recommended by an acquaintance who assured me he was a straight-shooter and hard-working.
