Biography
After graduating from Wake Forest University School of Law, I served as a Judicial Clerk for North Carolina Court of Appeals Judge Valerie Zachary where I researched cases and law, analyzed legal arguments, and drafted written opinions. The rhetorical acumen garnered while working in Judge Zachary’s chambers led me to leave my home state for a career in family law here in downtown Seattle.
My writing style toes the line between persuasive and succinct prose, and I work to capture the essence of what each client needs. I have been published by reputable law reviews across the country. My areas of interest cover a range of topics, from family law and equity to rhetoric and civil procedure.
I brings that experience, creativity, and strong communication skills to a family law practice where I connect with clients, ensure their experiences are clearly communicated, and tenaciously advocate on their behalf.
