Porsche Lyn Shantz

A granddaughter of a German immigrant and the daughter of an air traffic controller, Porsche Shantz brings more than three decades of comprehensive appellate experience to every case she handles. After graduating cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, she became the first Clerk’s Office Staff Attorney for the Supreme Court of Florida and later served on both Florida’s First and Fourth District Courts of Appeal as well as Tennessee’s appellate courts. In these roles, she wrote scores of appellate briefs, conducted in-depth legal research, and authored procedural and substantive recommendations on a wide array of civil and criminal appeals, including family law, probate, insurance, and foreclosure disputes. Porsche has also contributed to internal appellate workgroups and rules commissions to ensure efficient, principled court operations.
