Biography
Paul F. Cane is Of Counsel with Betts Patterson & Mines where his practice encompasses a broad range of insurance defense matters from product liability and personal injuries to construction and premises claims. Prior to joining BPM, from 1988 – March, 2015 Paul was a Shareholder at Thorsrud Cane & Paulich, a firm that focused on litigation and trial work for insurance carriers, their insureds, and for commercial and business clients. From 1982 – 1988 he served as counsel for the insurance defense community at the Seattle firm Tewell, Thorpe and Findlay. Prior to that he gained substantial trial experience as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney.
Paul has been rated “AV Preeminent,” the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards, by Martindale-Hubbell since 1988, and has been named a Washington State “Super Lawyer” from 2002-2015 by Super Lawyers Magazine.
