Biography
A native of the Pacific Northwest, Ms. Barker joined the firm in 1986 and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Since Ms. Barker joined the firm, her practice has focused on all aspects of family law, including dissolution of marriage, legal separation, parenting plan modifications, child support modifications, parentage actions, adoptions and premarital agreements. Ms. Barker’s practice also involves guardianships and she is on the King County Superior Court Guardian ad Litem Registry.
Ms. Barker has been a volunteer attorney through the King County Bar Association since 1989, and a volunteer with the King County Superior Court Ex Parte and Probate Department Staffing Review Calendar program since 1998. Since January 2000, she has also been a volunteer at Treehouse, a non-profit agency assisting foster children in King County.
