John Christopher Matson

I retained John as my attorney to represent me in a very complex custody case that ended in my favor. I found him to be understanding, thoughtful and thorough. John consulted with me on a roommate eviction issue. He took the time to understand my situation, and then provided sound advice that helped me take informed next steps to resolve my issue. Mr. Matson’s approach was completely different from day ...one. His approach was first to look at all the parties involved, including the children, and focused on what would be best for everyone. As with most attorneys, he is very busy, and even volunteers his time, but despite all that I still felt he cared about my situation, case, and time. He was very responsive and was exceptional in weeding through the facts versus the chaos I would throw his way. He would ask what my goals and desired outcomes would be and then would help guide me through the process to obtain those. He is knowledgeable of the law and has an excellent way of explaining it to those of us that are not lawyers by trade. My major concern was the outcome being fair and the child custody side of things. In the end, a settlement was reached in my case, and a formal trial was avoided. I have already and would recommend Mr. Matson if you are looking for a caring approach from somebody you can trust.
