My wife and I had invested our IRAs with A.G. Edwards and Sons. Our broker overruled our instructions not to let our investments drop below a predetermined level. His failure to get us out of some high risk stocks meant we lost some $275,000. A.G. Edwards offered us $75,000 in compensation. Mr. Leade...rs, acting on our behalf took it to arbitration. At the end of arbitration, the lead arbitration panelist commented, "It's been a pleasure to work with a barrister of Attorney Leaders' stature. His was a rare performance." We, of course, thought so too when the award from A.G. Edwards for $275,000 came down.
