Lisa M Voso

Lisa offers a high level of litigation experience, integrity, and competency.  She is a compassionate and committed attorney, who has gained a great deal of respect from both her clients and her colleagues.  She and her staff are committed to providing results for their clients.  From their first visit, client leave her office well represented and with a thorough understanding of the claims process.  Her commitment to this area of the law has been steadfast for almost a decade. 

Her exposure to all aspects of personal injury litigation is bi-coastal.  She is licensed and has litigated personal injury cases in Washington, Maryland and the District of Columbia. 

As a seasoned trial attorney for injured people, Lisa has represented hundreds of clients for auto injuries, wrongful death claims, pedestrian, dog bite, construction and premises liability cases in jury trials, bench trials, motions, mediations, and arbitrations.

Since graduating cum laude from the honors college of St. Mary’s College in Maryland, where she competed nationally on the speech team, Lisa has brought her lawyer’s eye and strong communication skills to her varied pursuits.  Combining work, a desire to help people, and travel, she was privileged in the past to work with the Human Rights Committee in
Cape Town, South Africa just after Apartheid was abolished and with the Legal Aid Society in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Lisa has shared her strengths in law and communication as a public speaking educator and coach on the college level, with inner city kids, and also through local seminars with organizations like the American Women in Science (AWIS) and the Jubilee House.  Lisa earned the distinction as one of the highest-ranked adjunct faculty in the Communications department, as measured by student evaluations – ranking in the top 10% every semester.  These activities enrich her connection with the community and also honor her passion for giving back to the community.
