Based on his previous glowing reviews, something must have happened to Brandon McMurtray after 2020. I hired Brandon for a high conflict custody case. I should have listened to my gut instincts when he almost immediately became next to impossible to reach or even receive an email response for sever...al days at at time. Brandon never scheduled a trial meeting. Never looked at any of the exhibits and strategic questions I provided to be asked of witnesses. He was effective at times in his knowledge of the law but would become almost comically weeded in details that drained precious trial time. He had no strategy, he did not prepare notes or have questions at the ready. Subsequently, he missed filing deadlines, did not forward communications, would wait until 2 hours before a deadline to say he couldn’t perform a task. I am concerned that he may have a substance abuse issue based on his memory / recall of events that have a paper trail.

I hired Brandon McMurtray as my divorce lawyer and he helped me navigate the entire process as smoothly as possible. Throughout the process he was an advocate for me and my children and presented valuable insight based on his experience. He was able to suggest custody arrangements that worked best fo...r the children and could be mutually agreed upon. The divorce documents that he created and edited were thorough and well structured.
