Stephen Lionel Conroy

In 1984 I went to him. I had a girlfriend play a head game on me. Told me we needed a good fight sat a pad of paper and pen in front of me and told me to write down all the things that bugged me about her. A bunch of other BS too. I was so embarrassed that I didn't say much. She came up with a lie to... have me convicted. I went back and told him and he asked me a stupid question. "Do you want to make a federal case out of it?" This woman isn't the nicest person and to have some attorney take you as a joke and cosign the prosecution and do what she did is ridiculous. My best friend had committed suicide during this relationship and it took her best friend and myself some fast talking to his family to have them allow her to be at the funeral. After she had me arrested she started hanging with my family friends telling me to stay away stay clear and to stay away from her friends. My son later had to live with someone that had molested him because of her lying and had an attorney call and tell his perpetrator they would back her up. Stay away from this attorney. This is what bad attorneys do to your life.

I hired this attorney for a family member; First visit he was very kind & polite. Coming on as your best friend at heart. When it came to the work that needed to be addressed: he goes all his own work; he was late, late in filing, late in showing up to court; or NEVER showed. Dragged this he...aring out that seemed to be like forever. What a disappt.he is to his Profession! Then he asks for more MONEY!!! when he hasn't done anything yet! I had already invested several thousands, & sure wasn't going to pay more at this pt. I just want this over! This is being dragged out too long. Mr. Conroy needs help in his office, needs to be court, no excuses!! Mr Stephen Lionel Conroy!

During my initial consultation for 2 cases, he held up both police reports and said, "this one is going away, and this one is getting pleaded down". He dragged out my cases for over a year. He didn't show for court 5 times, the other times he was hours late and everyone had to wait for him. He mad...e the courts more and more mad. I would leave over 20 messages in between court appearances, write letters, and stop in the office. He never returned any of my phone calls or responded in any way. Whenever I tried to talk to him about how unhappy I was, he would get nasty and not let me talk. When he did show for court he had no idea what was going on. The court eventually got so angry that they would not listen to anything and put me immediately to a bench trial! He lied to me to get me to accept a plea and did not respong to any calls after. Now I am screwed!. He told me many things that were completely wrong. I always found myself making tons of phone calls to fix his mistakes and get the information he failed to give me. He made my cases 100% worse. I talked to several other attorneys and they said he dragged the case out so much and caused so much damage that they would not take the case. I don't know how he keeps his lisence. Please don't make the same mistake I made! He is a liar and you can't trust what he says, he is totally and completely unresponsive and does not communicate about anything. He doesn't appear to know the law, or he just liies about it. He is completely incompetent.
