I was initially assigned to James Feldman as my attorney, and at some point my representation was changed internally without my knowledge or consent. This lack of communication alone raised conce...rns for me about transparency and client awareness during an already serious legal matter. Based on my understanding, this situation triggered certain professional and ethical obligations. While I am aware that notification was made to the city, I did not observe the same level of action when it came to reporting the matter through appropriate professional accountability channels. From my perspective, this raised serious concerns about whether the situation was handled with the level of independence and objectivity required in circumstances involving potential misconduct within a legal practice—particularly where there may be overlapping personal and professional relationships. I believe that more decisive and transparent action at that time could have made a meaningful difference in the trajectory of my case and the long-term impact it has had on my life. Instead, the lack of follow-through contributed to a situation where I felt unsupported and without proper advocacy during a critical moment. This experience left me questioning whether professional responsibilities were fully upheld in a way that prioritized the client’s rights and well-being above all else. I encourage anyone considering legal representation to ask clear questions about communication practices, conflict-of-interest safeguards, and how concerns about professional conduct are handled within a firm. This review reflects my personal experience and perspective.
