Ted C. Barr

It's so hard to start without saying if you think your life has turned in away where you think how, what, where should I go from here esp! If it's your first time, then this is how it started for me I was in an incident that changed my Life a D.U.I something that I didn't prepare for it can change yo...ur life forever your first thought is it will all just go away! No it won't you got go and face your responsibility and thank God it wasn't worse then it could have been and if it is. then pray that you learn from it. I had to go through so much contacting lawyers through friends who had went through the same thing I could really say my first and my last I was angery frustrated and disappointed that I let myself down and my family I will make this short but bitter sweet the last lawyer I had I was so confused so lost and come to find out after months of going through trials and trials wishing it will end and when it came close he never showed up to court and ended up having his licenses suspended I was devistated I couldn't trust the system and felt like they all on the Same team. Tell I met Ted C Barr it brings me to tears to mention what this man did for me he is the most up front tell you how it is, understands your anxiety and goes ubove and beyond the job to get you all and every facts dealing with your case I promise when I say this when I was on defense since what my last lawyer did to me I kind've made it hard for Ted cause I didn't trust no one at this time I just wanted to do this on my own but Ted understood I didn't even have to tell him what happen he just knows he told me we will take this one day at a time when I would say I won't sign this or that he would smile and say I understand after what happen to you its oky just be there when it's time. I mean this mans heart is amazing!! He will always keep me up to date and never was to busy for me I emailed him tons of times and he will answer all my question even the ones I was going to ask already having it done and ready. To put this mans morals on a higher plain he even contacted my last lawyer who left me dry and wrote a letter so to get a response on what happen with my case that made me so proud to have him as my lawyer I didn't even asked him he did it. I love him for that very professional to his profession you could tell he loves the law and it loves him. You can tell by a man by his fruits and when I walk in the court room I always here from other lawyers you have Good man on your side Im really so proud to have him in my life during these tuff times I don't know what to say I love this man for what he has done for me and have so much respect for the law! Because of him. You realize one thing they are here to see we do right there not here to attack us but to make sure we learn and if you keep doing wrong well you know the rest. Ted is not only a Great lawyer but A friend a uncle that you can talk to about anything! I know you want to hear about the ending of my case you never get to tell your story like you want to and after my first lawyer I didn't feel like every time we went to court the judge never really heard my story but Ted on the other hand man Oh man his court room ethics and presence can be felt right when he walks in. He told my story in away I couldn't have done! in the very end I ended with a Wrekless and because of the money I spent for my last lawyer he got my fines lowered which I paid off he was willing to fight if it's what I wanted and he tells you up front everything his team and payment plans are amazing really I could go on about this man but to know is to find out my story is different like us all. I still stay in contact I even ask Ted question tell this day and he will answer them every time. I'm truly blessed to have come across such a great man in my life. When all was said and done Ted knew I wanted this over but with him by my side I gained confidence in myself He would say now you can start over and do it right again.

I hired Ted to represent me in my DUI case in Jan. 08. We met for the first time the day before I was to be arraigned. He laid everything that was about to happen in the system and discussed his fee for the DOL hearing the DUI case and said I was free to hire him for one, both or none of these. I ...chose both. This was money well sent in my opinion! When I got to the court I waited for Ted, he was a little late. This made me a little nervous, ok I was a lot nervous! As soon as he got there, he took control. He went right up to the prosecutor’s desk, got my file and told the judge we were ready to go. Needless to say, I was released without bail or a breath interlock device. Over the next 8 months at every appearance it was the same thing. Ted was always prepared with motions to file and advise on what the next actions would be. I always felt assured that Ted was doing everything he could for me in my case. I would get calls on weekends, weeknights well past business hours…..this guy works hard! In the end he worked a deal with the prosecutor and my DUI was reduced to negligent driving! We also won the DOL hearing so I never did loose any driving privileges. I learned a lot through this process and I’m so glad that Ted was my attorney. Ted is really busy, he may not always be right on time. But I told him that no one wants to eat in an empty restaurant, the service may be good but the food sucks.
