I was in an auto collision caused by another driver. After we pulled into the shoulder and exchanged information, my first call was to Erik. Despite it being early morning during commute time, Erik answered right away and helped calm my nerves and gave me advice on contacting the local PD to file a r...eport, as well as filing a collision report with the other driver's insurance company AS WELL as filing a report with my own insurance company. Every other person I talked to that day for advice (including my insurance rep) told me I just needed to file with the other driver's insurance since it was the other driver's fault. They were all incorrect. Erik was the only person who correctly advised me to file a personal injury claim with my own insurance company (despite the collision being 100% the other driver's fault), and use that claim to pay for my necessary medical bills. This was my first auto accident, and with all the adrenaline from the collision, and the depression of seeing my totaled car, it was very hard to know what to do. Looking back now, I'm so glad I had Erik to help. I was able to use my PIP coverage with my insurance to cover all my resulting medical expenses over the following several months while I sought treatment. I did not once pay out of pocket (which I would have had to do had I not filed a PIP claim with my insurance per Erik's advice). After my injuries reached a manageable level, Erik helped me collect the required documents and invoices to start my settlement claim with the other driver's insurance so I could repay my PIP costs. Erik maintained open communication with me throughout the entire process, calling me during each step of the negotiations to explain the current options and help advise my decisions. In the end, Erik was able to negotiated a settlement which allowed me to repay my PIP costs, cover his attorney fees, and left me enough extra that I can comfortable see a dr or chiropractor in the future should my injuries flare up as they continue to heal. I am honored to have the opportunity to recommend Erik's professional service to anyone who finds themselves needing legal counsel after a car accident. Erik helped me resolved a sound transit infraction ticket. I found him through my Hyatt Legal plan and gave him a call as I have gotten a list lawyers. He was quick to respond and easy to talked with. After I explained my situation, he gladly took on the case and gave clear instructions on what I nee...d to do and what information I need to provide.
