Will not listen

I was told to use the Khan Law Firm from another attorney. Intake was good. This was a slam dunk case and they thought so too because they took it w/o pay until they won. I got an offer I was never told about it. then 6 months later I was told there was a meeting and they started pushing this bad... offer with no regard. I was pushed and pushed to take the offer and no matter what they wouldn't take my no as an answer. Then they accused me of being reckless. I thought they were supposed to be on my side. I don't know why they changed their mind I was never told a satisfactory answer. I was just told it was better to take the offer on the table. Since the case was already filed they basically put me in a corner and I could not hire an attorney who would help me.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
