I recently sold my house and the buyer recommended that we have Julie Christenson act as escrow agent. I must admit that I had a bit of trepidation at first about accepting a buyer recommended attorney. However, Julie has done a truly excellent job for me as seller and I believe for the buyer as well.... An unexpected complication arose during my home sale; there was an unknown 29 year old lien against my property by a credit union that no longer existed under its original name. Julie helped discover their present identity and the lien was quickly released. I needed a one week 'delayed possession' beyond the closing date to finish clearing my personal property. For this there was a $5000 holdback. After that week I was out and Julie saw to it that the holdback money was returned very expeditiously.
