Poor Record Keeping

We asked this lawyer to look through their legal records to assert the successful execution of a contract he had notarized. He stated he was not witness to the signing, had no written record on file, and refused to help verify the validity of the contract. Through much agony, we were able to recove...r the duly executed contract, where his notary seal was very much present. Bad record keeping or perhaps lack of financial motivation to help on his part. Either way, it was unpleasant.
