Jacqueline Hanley Stone

I retained Jacqueline Stone on a contingency basis for a personal injury matter. Over approximately six months, there was no substantive work on my case—no investigation, no filings, and no meaningful progress or communication. Ms. Stone initially represented that she handled personal injury matters,... but later stated that my case supposedly lacked evidence and, in the same breath, admitted she did not have sufficient experience to handle it. Her withdrawal under these circumstances struck me as both unprofessional and misleading. In my judgment, her conduct reflected a serious lack of diligence, candor, and competence in personal injury representation.
