My Hero

Over the years, Barry has saved me from real estate related mistakes, as well as, intervening in a potential residential soil contamination issue. He also successfully intervened in a dispute with a medical entity. Aside from coming to my rescue under extreme circumstances, he did a great job with my... will and other important documents like Power of Atty, Directive to Physician, etc. I am so comforted to know that Barry and his team (especially Susan) are always there for me!!

No one better than Barry!

I have been seeking Barry Kombol's advice on several issues regarding land development for the past two years. He has been outstanding in his knowledge and his ability to quickly understand exactly what I needed. The short response time was surprising considering his full schedule, and this was cri...tical to our success. I am treated with respect and professionalism by both him and his assistants and I recommend him above all others. Barry Kombol is a "Comrade in Arms". Ronda

Not Recommended

Probate for my Aunt's will. Barry had all of the information he needed to complete the probate. I visited his office several times, made numerous calls to see how things were going all with no response, stopped by the office to see if I could get him to call but he was always "out of the office" or... "busy". Finally after 2 years I went to another attorney who completed the process for me. Barry never called to apologize or explain his "non action". It was an awful experience and a terrible waste of time and money.

Annette has never been my client, nor have I ever failed to complete a Probate Proceeding for a relative or niece of a deceased person in the manner Annette suggests was the case for her and her Aunt's Estate. Simple Estate proceedings in Washington involve filing a Last Will and Testament in the Superior Court, getting the Executor or Executrix qualified to serve and assembling all Estate Property for distribution and once that is accomplished Closing the Estate. My staff is professional and we always strive to serve our clients in times of grief and sorrow resulting from a Death in the Family with the utmost of care, concern and professionalism. I suspect that Annette either failed to bring in the sort of documents required to commence a probate proceeding (Such as a Last Will and Testament) or was unable to furnish us with the names of her Aunt's other heirs. I do not recall any client by the name of Annette who sought assistance with her Aunt's Estate. While I regret that Annette was so angry with me as to make the comments contained in this rating, it is sometimes the case that former clients become so angry over an issue that arises after our attorney-client relationship ends that they seek to 'Punish' the former law firm that sought to assist him or her. Simple Estates in Washington typically involve about $500.00 in filing and publication fees and less than $3,000.00 in Legal Fees.

Seamless home purchase closing

Barry, helped me with the purchase and close of an investment property. He was professional, responsive, and always had my best interests in focus. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great lawyer with tons of experience.
